This is some of what we've been hearing:
I took my daughter and boyfriend to this show on Friday night, the 8:45 showing. I was completely enthralled, and my 7 year old was telling MY friends what fractals were on Saturday. I enjoyed the show immensely. I also downloaded the fractals program after we got home, and my daughter and I played with it for a while.
We also noticed that there are shows about Black Holes and the Sun also showing at the Planetarium. We were so impressed by the fractals show, we have even considered joining the Museum so that we can be informed of such shows in the future.
Thanks, Jonathan Wolfe, we had a GREAT time, and would definitely do it again!

Hi - I am a teacher who attended your last Fractal Friday presentation.
I teach graphic arts and web design at a high school for at risk students at the
Albuquerque Job Corps Center. I went to your website to get the xaos software,
and shared it with a student today. I copied the software to his account, showed
him where it was, and walked away to help another student. A minute later, I heard
him say to the students around him, "Check this out! This is the coolest sh** ever!
This is called a fractal. It's math, dude." Soon, many students were excited about
using the software. This led to a larger discussion about fractals, and many of our
students are interested in attending your next presentation.
...We may also be able to bring you in to work with our students. If you'd like to learn
about our school, our website is www.siatechabq.org.
Thanks for the wonderful work that you do. Today, you helped to inspire students who
have never achieved academically, who have never been excited about school.
That is our mission here at SIATech.
Respectfully,
Sandy Roth
One of the most amazing things from this experience was that after the visit,
several of the kids - without prompting - painted their own fractal images. To me this
was an amazing assimilation of information for 5 and 6 year olds. The kids were totally
engrossed, seeing the possibilities of the presented ideas even before I did. Ever since
the visit, they have been pointing out fractals in the world around them - trees,
plants, clouds and more. This was a most stimulating introduction to math and science
for these children, who were excited by the artistic possibilities they saw.

Greetings!
I recently attended a CANE (Creating a New Element) workshop put on by Russ Fisher-Ives
(and cronies - Inquiry Facilitators) and they mentioned
the work that you and your foundation are doing.
I haven't been so excited about something in a long time, fractals sound like just the
thing to send my teaching in a new and better direction. I am absolutely mind blown at
the opportunities to unite math, science and art! I would like to invite you to speak at
our highschool in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Please contact me at this email address, or by
phone, so that we can explore the possibilities!
Thanks for all you do,

Hello, I had the pleasure to attend the most wonderful and educational
display of fractals at he the New Mexico Natural History Museum. Dr. Wolfe
was excellent and it was great to see so much interest from people of all ages.
I believe and witnessed that the time of looking at science through new
vision has arrived. I would love to get involved and help any way I can.
I have learned about fractals through Permaculture Design and I currently
teach at UNM Valencia. It would be an honor to be part of the great work
you are doing.
Thank you,
Joe Garcia
