Fractivities

Fractivities are fun projects that teach the concepts of fractals. Some of them are in-class activities, some are on the computer and can be done individually either at home or in the classroom, and some involve studying actual fractals in nature. They are designed primarily for elementary and middle school students.

Note: We are currently sharing these Fractivities with teachers for FREE. We are doing so with the request that you please share your feedback with us about your experiences using the materials with students. In this way, we can continue to refine and improve the Fractivities. Thank you!

  1. Hi there
I am putting together a lesson to teach teachers of grade 3-6 students (8-11 year olds in the UK) how to introduce fractal related activities into their teaching. I am really impressed with your 3 activities, they are quite excellent, thankyou very much.
    best wishes
